Our client is currently seeking a contract Research Project Leader for the next 12 months to manage projects associated with the company’s strategic direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective research and project management techniques are used. You will also clearly communicate the research findings and insights to all appropriate internal & external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

• Guiding and monitoring the performance of market research consultants
• Disseminating project findings to all clients, internal & external
• Managing project based research studies to achieve agreed outcomes
• Ensuring work is achieved within budget and in line with business plans

Essential experience/qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a market research or data analysis role
• Tertiary degree in research related field (eg statistics, psychology)
• Excellent project management skills & techniques
• Proven experience in building strong internal and external relationships
• First-rate communication skills - written and oral
• Experience supervising a small team

This role is a temporary full time position until approximately December 2011.
