We are looking for a very “hands on”, inspirational fmcg researcher to report directly to the Head of Insights & the Marketing Team. On a personal level you will be down to earth, open and energetic.

Sound functional research skills will be the basis of your skill set. You should be highly experienced across all research methodologies with an indepth understanding in FMCG. You will also have the confidence to work with the team to implement the company’s global initiatives and set the standards of research across the Australian operations. As a result, experience in both a client side and/or agency environment is preferred.
Emphasising quality research, you will head up product division. Your responsibilities will be to manage consumer and shopper insight activities that assist in driving business and brand/portfolio strategy, identify opportunities for the company and monitor performance against strategic marketing and business activities.
Additional duties include: • Proactively managing the research budget • Identifying consumer and customer needs through market, competitors, trade, social environment etc • Utilisation of both quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies • Building strong relationships with external agencies • Assisting in the development of global research guidelines • Guiding the development of advertising strategies (creative and media)
